Hi, I am Graham this is me in my warm, clean Angels Of The Church supported housing flat. Let me tell you my story…

Graham

I came to AOTCHA with very low esteem due to the breakdown of my relationship with my ex-partner.

With the help of my support worker, this has helped me to be able to have contact with my daughter by helping me to work with my solicitor and fill in the paperwork as and when required.

My support worker has helped me put a budget plan in place for my debits and shown me how to speak to these people so I have the confidence to work with them.

With the help of my support worker I am in a place where I feel happier with myself and feel now that my self-esteem is growing day by day, and look forward to achieving all my goals with the support and having people there to help.

“When I first moved in to AOTC accommodation I didn’t know what to do, I was in bits. I didn’t know how I was going to see my daughter or how I was going to find a home. But AOTC supported me and I am now where I want to be. I have my own place and I am positive about the future”

I can say now that my life as turned a point where I won’t look back but only look forward.

How AOTC helped Graham

Graham found himself homeless and unable to work after abuse and harassment from neighbours led to the breakdown of his relationship with his partner and him being unable to see his daughter. Angels of the Church provided Graham with accommodation and support and he has now moved in to permanent accommodation and is working towards finding employment as a fork lift truck driver. AOTC also supported Graham to work with solicitors and legal aid and is now in the process of going through family mediation.
