We all suffer with our mental health and most often we have the tools within us to work through things but sometimes more support is required to get to a stage of having the tools to deal with our mental health episodes as they happen.

There is no one solution for mental health issues, however there are a wide and varying selection of providers throughout Leeds who work with individuals to better their mental health, overcome obstacles and gain more control over their lives. Whilst the first port of call should be your GP, if you feel you would like to refer yourself for support, the following providers may be good places to start.
Leeds Mind – Offer a range of services to support people with mental health difficulties. Counselling, housing, key working, peer support, suicide bereavement, training, employment support.
The Market Place – Counselling, peer support and sexual health
IAPT – Employment advice, copying with worry, depression recovery, stress control, mindfulness, cognitive behavioural therapy
Andy’s Man Club – male support group to tackle mental health and suicide
Women’s Counselling and Therapy Service – Free or low cost counselling and psychotherapy support
St Anne’s – Offering a wide range of support services to cover learning disabilities, mental health, homelessness, substance abuse and housing
